About the Department
The Dravyaguna department is one of the teaching departments of the college, involved in both B.A.M.S. and D.Pharma teaching programs. The department also actively conducts forest visits to explore and study local flora in their natural habitat.

- Maintains a comprehensive museum of dry and wet medicinal plant species.
- Maintains an extensive herbal garden containing over 258 species of medicinal plants.
- Has successfully developed specialized botanical sections including Nargaha Vatika and Nakshatra Vatika.
Vision: To scientifically explore, document, and validate the vast pharmacopoeia of Ayurveda for the development of safe and effective herbal medicines.
Mission: To provide profound knowledge of Ayurvedic Materia Medica, fostering research in pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and pharmacology to establish the clinical efficacy of medicinal plants.
