Dravyaguna

Department of Dravyaguna

The Dravyaguna department is one of the teaching departments of the college. This department has two teaching faculty members, Dr. Vipin Chaurasia and Dr. Nidhi Mishra, along with five non-teaching staff members:

  • Mona Jain – Lab Technician

  • Bhawani Shankar – Lab Assistant

  • Bharti Vishwakarma – Museum Keeper

  • Swaminderen Kol – Staff Member

  • Rajmani Yadav – Gardener

The department is involved in B.A.M.S. and D.Pharma teaching and also conducts forest visits to explore flora.

The department maintains a museum of dry and wet medicinal plant species. The herbal garden is maintained by the department and contains 258 species of plants.

Additionally, the department has developed Nargaha Vatika and Nakshatra Vatika.
